hi Ritesh, I think the additional information you are referring to is for different schools of painting — as is the case with Indian History — there are too many layers, and fewer established terms to differentiate the various schools of art. For example, wood carving or metal casting can be from different schools of regional crafts while being referred to by one name in English; its misleading term when seen in a specific craft context. Similarly, miniature painting also can be deceptive as technically its practised across India in different forms and on different mediums — from palm leaf, silk, paper, wood, metals, walls, etc.
